Probably as a sign of weakening VC climate we have been acquired. By a publicly traded company and they even promised to give us their stocks. On the negative side, they have significantly more expensive health insurance (especially in comparison with HSA we used to have) and absolutely atrocious choice of 401K funds. At least there could be some interesting tech stuff to do related to scalability/cloudness because of their extensive network infrustructure. We'll see.
This is the third startup I have worked for so far. The first one, a few years ago grew to a self-sustaining business. The second went down is style. This one got acquired. Judging from the trend, the next startup I will work for is likely to fail :)
